I am a psychotherapist who combines her obtained educational knowledge with innate beliefs and gifts to promote growth and change in others.  My clinical approach with individuals, couples, families and groups is designed to help them overcome a range of psychological and emotional issues.   With the client as an active participant, personal treatment plans and a variety of non-medical-based treatments are used to address the client's thought processes, feelings and behavior; understand inner conflicts; find new ways to deal with and alleviate distress.

My philosophy is that our lives are like a journey.  The journey can start out good or bad.  There might be some extremely difficult times where we hit some rough spots or take the wrong turn, but ultimately we have the power to determine how the journey ends.  I believe that it is important to see a positive aspect in everything.  Some people have made it through unimaginable horrific times in their lives, and to just see those experiences as simplybad develops feelings of hopelessness and a victim mentality.  I believe that we gain power, hope and growth when we identify something positive in every situation.  I recognize that this is not an easy task.  I strongly believe that bad things that happen in life, whether by accident or intentionally, do not define who we are.  Ultimately everyone wants to be happy and have a fulfilling life.

Psychotherapy is quality time scheduled between individuals where genuineness, unconditional positive regard and congruency is present.  You are free to be who you are without judgment or ridicule.
